Secondly, it is a unique form of light. You can create beams, Lissajous effects, flats, tunnels and choreograph it all to music.
Some of these effects you can do with other forms of light.
That being said, only laser allows you to write and create animation. More importantly also project your logos in an custom designed way.

How Lasers Draw Your Logo
Drawing your logo in laser is a complicated process.
1st we take your high resolution image in jpeg or bitmap format. Then we hand digitize it using special software.
We trace the outline of your image exactly. It is a bit like a high tech join-the-dots.
To actually project your logo, we shoot the laser beam onto two mirrors (see image below)

We shoot the beam onto one mirror moving in a horizontal plane. This directs the beam onto a vertically moving mirror.
Using the 2 mirrors, we are able to reproduce your logo.
Equally important to remember, is that the logo can have restrictive limitations if too complicated.
The scanners can project approx 50,000 points per second. However if the image becomes too complicated the laser appears to flicker.
This is a process called persistence of vision

So if this ‘flicker’ happens, we need to simplify the logo projection. At the same time maintain the integrity of your logo.
Consequently, each logo can take about 1 hour to prepare as it is hand digitized.
Once the laser image is ready, we use special proprietary laser software. The software can animate and project it.
